Every Artist dreams of creating their Masterpiece. As a magical being this Desire becomes an imperative. I chose long ago that my true Masterpiece would be my Life. Setian Initiation provided the means and knowledge, the Initiates of the Temple of Set provided their essence and the friction necessary to journey this Path. It is my sincere hope that the Works represented here have in some small way given back in the spirit of Exchange to those who have impacted my own initiation and that of Others.

Dance, for me, is a way to share stories, a nonverbal communication that utilizes the body, gestures, and emotions. Where every movement from the flick of the wrist, to the eyes moving from side to side, the slight smile at the corner of the mouth, and even the sweat trickling down the face-- tells the story of a dancer’s journey. Some of us are technicians, spending years developing our preferred technique, others move to the groove that is inherent within their being, and let's not forget those that share messages through their movements... or a combination of these and more! That is the beauty with dance; there is no "right" way to express. Expression comes from within the being and as dancers:

"We dance for laughter, we dance for tears,
we dance for madness,
we dance for fears,
we dance for hopes,
we dance for screams,
we are the dancers, we create the dreams."

Dancers create with their whole being, assessing a flow between rhythms and stillness, beauty and horror, technique and freedom. It makes sense that this silent language would be some of the earliest methods of communicating. This silent language becomes storytelling within movement. A story ever-unfolding and filled with discovery of the Self.
