Questions for the show:

I’ve recently discovered your podcast KHPR and had a few questions for you about the Temple of Set. Would you be willing to address some of these in future podcasts?

1. How rigorous is the entrance process for Temple members? Should I plan on waiting hours, days, or weeks before my application is processed?

2. You mentioned in your last podcast that once accepted, a would have access to some sort of list of members? Can I keep my name off this list?

3. I’ll be to the point here. I’ve a “respectable position” with a massive, multi-national company that I believe social association with the Temple would probably hurt. What steps does the Temple take to ensure my privacy is respected?

In looking at where people where getting referred to KHPR from. I noticed there were several from satannet.com so I decided to take a look at the site to see what it was about. Apparently, it’s trying to be a sort of facebook for satanists and after I joined to take a look around I received a rather warm welcome from Magister Lestat Ventrue of the Church of Satan. He even suggested I upgrade to a VIP membership to access more of the site. Now he could obviously see the xeper.org email address and the fact that I had the user name of TempleofSet he knew where I was from, but didn’t seem to have a problem with me being there.

Cool, I figured maybe they’re calming down a bit and wrote him back that I found out about the site from the fact that there were links to my show on his. Then the fur started to fly. Apparently two people didn’t like the fact that I joined by clicking the “don’t like” button next to the comment that I had joined. I made a comment that I was sorry they weren’t so open minded.

I received an email today that I had a message waiting for me and clicked the link to see the message. I have the login and password saved on my computer and discovered that my account had been banned. I had no intention of defaming the CoS on their site. That would be pointless. People who show up somewhere to start trouble or pick fights are just idiots. I was truly interested to see what was going on in this network, but apparently they don’t like me or are afraid of me. This in a way thrills me and gives me power. If merely the name Temple of Set brings fear to Satanists that makes them want to lock me out that just shows how much power I have.

Oh, and by the way today I will be interviewed by the Pagan Centered Podcast on the Temple of Set and the Left Hand Path in general. I suggest you check them out and tell them I sent you. They’re an eclectic mix of paths that aren’t the least bit afraid of me.

KHPR is returning…bigger, better, darker. Your host Magister Robert Adams has been distributing cards around the world for the podcast and is in the process of arranging for a wider range of more regular guests. We’ve updated the look of the site to be more appealing and modern and will be incorporating new features to the system as they become available. We’ll start slow. Expect to see new episodes once a month and that might pick up to bi-monthly.

While you’re at it if you want to help spread the word in a grass roots effort you can use the banner below and link it to our site.
